Finance Management
Our Finance Management class is a twelve hour course that teaches the student how to open a checking account and gives the student an opportunity to learn how to prepare a budget.
They also learn to write checks, the proper use of ATM and Credit Cards, and how to reconcile their check register with bank statements. They will learn how to apply for a loan, interest rates, and how to avoid, manage, and overcome debt.
They will also learn how to purchase big ticket items such as a house or car, the fundamentals of preparing for retirement through the effective use of Individual Retirement Accounts, Mutual Funds, Health and Life Insurance and College Education Accounts.
